CinARC has been working to discover more-effective treatments for substance abuse since 1995.  With ties to the Psychiatry Department of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and to the Cincinnati Veterans Administration Medical Center, CinARC investigators and research staff perform clinical trials on both pharmacological and psychosocial treatments for cocaine, opiate, methamphetamine, nicotine, and other addictions.
